ROSARIO DEVITO

Counsel

Rosario DeVito focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate and commercial litigation, insurance coverage issues, and professional liability law.  Prior to joining Ohrenstein & Brown in June 2010, Rosario represented clients in a wide range of legal matters, including corporate and commercial litigation for closely held corporations, residential and commercial real estate transactions and litigation, intellectual property law, employment disputes and matrimonial actions.  Rosario now applies that broad experience to vigorously representing clients of the firm.

Rosario has appeared before numerous Counties in New York State Supreme Court, the First and Second Departments of the Appellate Division, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts.

Rosario is a 1998 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.  In 2002 Rosario received his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.  He was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2003, the State of New Jersey in 2002, and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 2003.  Rosario also is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
