Ohrenstein & Brown, LLP has significant experience in handling disputes between shareholders, directors and officers of publicly and privately held corporations and other forms of business organization, including partnerships and limited liability companies. We also represent business organizations in business tort and contract claims.

Much of our work in this field has involved the defense of claims brought under the Securities Act of 1933, regarding the sale of securities, and the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, regarding allegations of fraud in the marketplace, some of which involved claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
