O&B's Directors and Officers Liability insurance team adroitly represent and consult with insurers, directors, officers and corporations concerning liability and insurance matters. Over the course of the last 25 years we've amassed considerable skill in extensive coverage analysis (including analysis of damage calculations), preparing reservation of rights and disclaimer letters, and actively monitoring underlying actions and proceedings from initiation to trial or settlement.

In matters in which our litigators aren't serving as defense counsel, our firm works closely with its clients' defense counsel in working through settlements, including, when necessary, negotiating directly with the plaintiffs' counsel.

But what really sets O&B's directors and officers liability practice apart is our extensive trial experience, including our representation of directors and officers insurers in declaratory judgment actions adjudicating the rights and potential coverage obligations of the insurers vis-a-vis their insureds.

This trial experience shifts the focus of our coverage investigations. Moreover, since our representation of insurers covers federal and state courts throughout the country, we've gained a working familiarity with the laws of many states, including those of New York, California, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
